How to Become A Woman Who Gets Your Time Back

After circling the store for 20 minutes, I came across the perfect canvas for my mantel.  The sparkly gold shimmer on the edges of the leaves left me struck. But there was one problem that turned out to be a deal breaker.

It had a smudge.

Did you start today feeling wonderfully, but then encounter a smudge… a sluggish mood, a cluttered inbox, a grumpy family member?

Don’t worry, because God can put you back in sync with the purposeful day he has planned for you.

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” (Psalm 5:3 NIV)

Judging by his phrase, “In the morning,” it sounds like David had a daily prayer. He knew he’d probably be faced with challenging situations or difficult people, and decided to proactively put his trust in God.

How much time do you normally spend trying to overcome offenses and distractions? If you are done using precious time trying to solve these issues on your own, there is help.

Consider, David’s method. When you see something in your day that has the potential to steal your time, stop and lay our requests before the Lord. It is the gift of prayer and God’s grace that allows us to give him our burdens and keep moving.
