Prayer for Peace of Mind: A Mental Reset for Your Week
Home > Today’s Devotional > All Devotions > Prayer for Peace
Get ready for mental triumph…
A breather from the chaos that comes from kids around the house. Relief from receiving disappointing news. A pause from our normal routines.
While we may not be able to take a physical break or a vacation this week, God has peace for us that we can enjoy right now.
Here is a prayer for peace of mind to begin your week with God’s Eirēnē (peace, harmony, and tranquility):
God, today I put my complete trust in you. You are a good Father.
I won’t allow anything I’ve been afraid of to take over my thoughts this week, because I know you will use my circumstances together for a good outcome.
I will not let worry or fear determine my next steps, but will allow your peace to guide me instead.
I trust that you are with me, and I depend on you for peaceful sleep every day this week.
Thank you for helping me to see how you are working and empowering me with the spirit of a conquerer through you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer Reflection for Your Week
This prayer is based on God’s biblical essentials for peace as well as his promises to us in John 14:27, Romans 8:28, and Romans 8:37-40.
Say it throughout the week whenever you need to be refreshed, and make room for God’s peace to protect your heart and mind just the way he planned.
