Praying for Better Days Wins Battles

Did you know that prayer is a crucial component in your chance to experience better days ahead?
You don't have to get comfortable with the way things may be going right now. The things that have happened in your life, or even in your nation, are not big enough to conquer you.
There are gifts God gave you to use and more life He has for you to experience.
Let's examine this verse for a moment to see how this works:
Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” (NIV)
If you re-read this scripture slowly, there is a message for us all.
It says that God's power, working inside of us, is what enables Him to fulfill the dreams we imagine and ask Him for.
So, how do we get His power, and how do we work it?
When we allow God to lead us day-to-day, listen to his word to build our faith, and use other tongues to edify our spirits, we activate His power in us!
Praying for better days with this kind of power will be the game-changer, just like it was for Elijah.
“The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.
Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn’t rain, and it didn’t—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.” James 5:16b-18 MSG

Start this week by spending time with God through meditation on Scripture and singing praises. Then, open your heart for God to guide you to a place of hope and strength through prayer.
